Huron is a global consultancy that collaborates with clients to drive strategic growth, ignite innovation and navigate constant change. Through a combination of strategy, expertise and creativity, we help clients accelerate operational, digital and cultural transformation, enabling the change they need to own their future.

Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.
In this role, the Senior Director would drive qualified revenue by deeply understanding the business processes Huron's Financial Services clients seek to transform — across the FS value chain — including finance, accounting, FP&A, risk and compliance, treasury, payments, lending, servicing, and operations. These efforts would allow for architecting of credible, differentiated solutions that win competitive transformational pursuits. This leader would serve as the senior transformation architect from the first client conversation through delivery oversight, operating across the full account lifecycle from business development through solution deployment.
As a market-facing leader, the Senior Director would own a portfolio of clients and projects, would lead larger transformation programs, and would drive business development as an industry and process subject matter expert. The role positions business-process transformation as the entry point into broader enterprise programs alongside the FSI Commercial Lead and Digital Advisory Lead and serves as delivery principal post-close to provide continuity from sale through execution. The position carries full client, team, and practice management responsibility, with significant onsite client contact and the potential for weekly travel.
This role is within the Digital practice with a specialization in the Financial Services Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business-process discovery across the FS value chain with senior client stakeholders: map current-state processes, define gaps and target operating models, quantify business outcomes, and sequence transformation.
- Translate deep process understanding into credible, compelling, platform-agnostic solutions that differentiate Huron in competitive pursuits.
- Design end-to-end architectures that connect the processes being transformed to the appropriate applications, data, risk, compliance, and reporting layers.
- Position business-process transformation as the entry point into broader enterprise programs alongside the FSI Commercial Lead and Digital Advisory Lead.
- Own qualified pipeline and revenue; manage pursuit cadence, develop proposals and pricing, and lead final solution presentations.
- Codify repeatable, outcome-based transformation offerings and accelerators across FS value-chain domains.
- Serve as delivery principal post-close oversight, providing continuity and quality assurance from sale through execution.
- Orchestrate cross-domain solutions alongside the Data & Analytics, GenAI/Automation, and Customer Experience capability teams.
- Build pipeline through thought leadership and direct executive engagement at target accounts (CFO, COO, CRO, Controller, Chief Accounting Officer, CIO, CTO, and other business-line leaders).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- 10+ years leading business-process and technology transformation in Financial Services, enterprise applications, or consulting AND/OR 10+ years in the Financial Services industry across multiple value-chain domains (e.g., finance, FP&A, risk and compliance, treasury, payments, lending, servicing, operations).
- Deep business-process fluency: diagnose current-state processes, design target operating models, and quantify business outcomes across the FS value chain — not limited to the office of the CFO.
- Solution architecture experience connecting business processes to the right applications, data, and risk/compliance/reporting layers.
- Proven pre-sales and solutioning track record: discovery, estimating, proposal development, and leading final presentations.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and/or revenue origination and growth as a client-facing partner, principal, or practice lead.
- C-suite advisory and executive relationship management experience (CFO, COO, CRO, Controller, CIO/CTO, and business-line leaders).
- Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications.
- Willingness to travel weekly.
- Preferred: experience with one or more of our enterprise partner platforms such as Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, Salesforce, Amazon Web Services, UiPath, and Blue Prism.
- Preferred: partner and alliance experience and co-sell motions.
