JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for CDL DRIVERS in Madison/Huntsville AL. Our client is a Automotive Supplier located in the North Alabama area.
Responsibilities of a CDL DRIVERS includes:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and complies with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Follow route and time schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively during interactions with clients and customers.
- Ensure cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
Job Requirements of a CDL DRIVERS:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CDL Driver.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
