Senior Digital Designer

What's the role?

Reporting to the Digital Design Lead, this 10-month fixed-term parental leave cover is your chance to elevate creative quality and innovation across CCP and Premium Native design.

As the Senior Designer, you will deliver high-impact digital work spanning campaigns, editorial, marketing, and omni-channel experiences. Championing strong storytelling and design craft, you will blend hands-on creation with strategic, data-driven thinking to shape engaging digital stories and audience journeys that drive commercial and audience growth. Ultimately, you will own the visual design direction on assigned projects while helping to maintain scalable design system standards across the teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute visual design across rich media, interactive, and responsive omni-channel work to brand and performance standards.
• Partner with writers, producers, and client partnerships to craft visual concepts that connect creative excellence with commercial goals.
• Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems, such as Figma libraries, to drive workflow efficiency.
• Present design rationale and solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders, responding effectively to their feedback.
• Maintain project details, timelines, and deliverables utilizing tools like Wrike and JIRA.
• Track emerging design trends, UI/UX innovation, and AI-assisted creative tools while proactively coaching and mentoring junior designers.

Who are you?

• An experienced professional with 5+ years in digital, native, or UI/UX design, focusing on campaign and interactive content execution.
• An expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with proficiency in HTML/CSS and emerging AI creative tools.
• A conceptual thinker with a strong grasp of UI/UX principles, motion design, and accessibility who can build wireframes and prototypes.
• A storyteller who confidently incorporates video, imagery, and copywriting to create engaging and tasteful visual stories.
• An organized collaborator able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment while meeting deadlines.
• An excellent communicator with meticulous attention to detail and a constant drive to push skills and apply cutting-edge techniques.
