Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to business objectives through the development and deployment of innovative and effective marketing communications activities in line with global and local communication strategies, standards, and guidelines. Each day, you will be responsible for developing the marketing communication strategy and maintaining the positive image of the company and its brand and value proposition in the minds of the customers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring relevant marketing communication strategy and plans align with global marketing, corporate, and country communications strategies and guidelines.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Bangalore, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Selecting relevant marketing communications tools, adapting, translating, and implementing, as required, to support sales initiatives and achieve the company’s objectives in the local business.
• Adapting and developing promotional activities using events, fairs, online communication campaigns, print media, and other communications vehicles to promote products, systems, and services across the lifecycle.
• Stimulating lead generation through advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities.
• Ensuring sound communication across multiple and appropriate trade media in line with the ABB communications framework to extend the company’s visibility.
• Develop and execute digital communication plans aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines. Manage Marketing Platforms ensuring proper setup, integration, and data integrity. Adapt global campaigns and messaging to local markets, ensuring relevance and impact.
• Collaborate with global and local communications and marketing team to conceptualize and execute integrated digital campaigns.· Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing and communications outputs for the country.
• Plan, execute, and coordinate campaign activations, demand generation activities, and division-related product launches for the country, adapting global content and messaging for local relevance where needed.

Qualifications for the role

• Relevant 5 to 9 years of work experience in B2B, manufacturing, Electrical, Electronic  or Allied industries. Post graduate degree preferred in communications/ marketing / branding / mass comm.·      
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with both local and global leaders.    
• Experience in digital communications and campaign management. Knowledge of digital marketing and automation·
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage several projects at the same time.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English with ability to explain technology in an easy and engaging way as well as strong writing, editing, proofreading capabilities are essential.
• A solution-focused and self-starter mindset combined with passion for strategic and analytical thinking.
