OPERATIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER 

 

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Industry: Manufacturing 

 

THE JOB

 

• Develop and implement efficient operations and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, planning, production coordination, warehousing, and distribution
• Optimize inventory levels, demand planning, and supply forecasting to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence
• Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers
• Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and cost targets
• Identify and drive process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and operational efficiencies
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics across the supply chain and operations functions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and production teams
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Lead and develop the operations and supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

 

 THE PERSON

 

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in operations and supply chain roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end supply chain operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented approach
• High level of ownership, accountability, and self-motivation
• Ability to work independently while aligning with international HQ
