Description
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Management Accountant. Financial Control responsibility will include all aspects of creating a Management Account pack, from initial TB, to the calculation and posting of entries such as revenue and cost accruals and deferrals, prepayments, payroll processing, intercompany recharges and reconciliations, FX adjustments. Through to providing accurate and timely financial reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet along with full supporting schedules and backups) and analysis to support decision-making and financial planning within the business. This role is fast-paced and dynamic, involves working with different levels and requires an individual who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in an international environment.

You will work closely with colleagues within the Consulting & Technology Finance team, and will gain insight and exposure across a variety of functional teams across the Group’s Global Solutions division. You will support the wider team as well as transactional accountancy and month end / year end reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely month and year end closure procedures
- Journal calculation and posting (eg Payroll, Accrued and deferred income, accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- P&L review, balance sheet & intercompany reconciliations.
- Support with external audit process, to include but not limited to document preparation & submission, support on interim and final audit testing, liaising with auditors
- Assist with tax preparation providing documentation as requested by external advisors or Head of Tax
- Understand and support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for your entity process,
- Support in the generation, communication and finalization of the monthly timesheet process,
- Understand and support cash and bank reconciliation processes
- Fixed Asset creation & management
- Support in project focused accounting deliverables.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes,
- Investigate issues/queries.
- Cross training within the Consulting & Technology division
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 7+ years post qualification, in a Management Accountant / Financial Accountant role
- Semi - Qualified ACCA / CIMA etc.
- Strong experience and knowledge in preparing Management Accounting packs, including calculating Prepayments, Payroll, Accruals, Fixed Asset Management, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Intercompany reconciliation, FX revaluation, variance analysis, error correction, Accrued and Deferred Income calculation and posting.
- Accurate, detail oriented, organised self-starter. Good communication skills.
