About the Role

The Molding Team Leader must keep track of the indicators of: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Follow HPS philosophy. Produce defect-free parts, avoiding waste and respecting the correct and safe flow.

What You Will Do

• Review the production models that will run during the day.
• Comply with quality, scheduling, and production. Units per hour (UPH).
• Establish multidisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste
• Tracking Waste Metrics by Area
• Implement the quality and environmental management systems implemented in the company.
• Supervise the team's activities.
• Ensure that SAA and SC requirements are established, performed and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.
• Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through established communication channels.
• Satisfy the customers’ needs in the activities in accordance with the requirements of the Quality System and know and understand the concepts of SQDC.
• Participates in and provides support related to the management of quality systems and EHSS, as well as their objectives, goals, and programs.
• Audit of Layer Processes, 1st Layer (LPA).
• And other activities assigned by your supervisor
• Make sure your standard daily work is carried out
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining 5 in their work area on their shift (cleaning routine to 5 audits and checklist
• Hour-by-hour tracking of waste ensuring you maintain your set goal
• Ensure staff turnover in critical operations (welding)
• Maintain order and discipline of your staff in charge

What You Need to Be Successful

• Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry
