Job Description:
- Execute equity trades across global markets, including but not limited to Hong Kong, U.S., and Mainland China markets, ensuring efficient implementation of investment strategies and adherence to investment guidelines.
- Serve as backup trader for fixed income products, supporting bond trading and money market trading activities when required.
- Perform regular best execution and trade allocation assessments to ensure fair treatment across portfolios and compliance with internal policies.
- Prepare daily trade reports and end-of-day trading summaries for Investment Team review and Operations Team reconciliation.
- Provide market intelligence, trading color, liquidity updates, and execution feedback to Portfolio Managers and Investment Team.
- Conduct pre-trade and post-trade controls, including compliance monitoring, risk checks, and execution quality reviews.
- Maintain accurate booking and ensure proper retention of trade records in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Work closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams to support trading system enhancements, maintenance, testing, and process improvements.
- Manage relationships with brokers and counterparties, monitor broker performance, and evaluate broker performance on a regular basis.
- Support investor and regulatory due diligence requests related to trading activities and execution processes.
- Perform other duties as required, including but not limited to assistance in operations/risk/compliance reporting and monitoring, data analysis and etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above from reputable universities.
- 3-5 years of equity or bond trading experience.
- Punctuality, reliability and strong work ethics and integrity.
- Diligence, attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
- Strong data analytical skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines.
- Familiar with Bloomberg AIMS and other trading technologies as well as Wind, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong knowledge and control mindset on execution/dealing related compliance, conduct and risk issues.
- Capable to establish and build relationships with brokers and counterparties over time.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
