Systems & IT Support Administrator (Amsterdam)

Summa Limited B. V. is seeking a Systems & IT Support Administrator to join our team. The Systems & IT Support Administrator will work in our Amsterdam office alongside other technologists. This role requires on-site presence 4 days per week, with 1 day available for remote work. We are seeking an individual that is searching for an opportunity to make a real impact, deliver value, and work within an experienced team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux desktops, laptops, Apple MacBook laptops, security tools and applications.
• Handle physical setup and install of hardware and provide user and desktop support.
• Install new software and hardware drivers and update existing ones on an as needed basis.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, operating system, and software issues; deploy patches and updates on Windows desktops and servers.
• Perform Windows and Active Directory administration tasks, including user/group administration, group policies, and network install and patch management, security permissions on files and users.
• Create and maintain documentation of systems processes, automate tasks, and recommend new hardware and software solutions to explore new technologies to streamline user experience.
• Maintain inventory for all hardware and resolve IT support requests from employees relating to Windows, MAC OS and Linux operating systems.
• Participate in rotational, on-call schedule after hours and weekends

Your background & skills:

• 2+ years of Windows and Linux administration experience
• Strong knowledge and applied experience with Active Directory and Office 365 
• Experience scripting in Powershell, Bash, Python, or Perl
• Knowledge of Gitlab and Ansible preferred
• Familiarity with virtualization is a plus along with an understanding of networking concepts, configuration management, and source control
• Strong attention to detail and communication/customer service skills with the ability to identify problems and work proactively to resolve issues

 

The expected base salary range for this position is €60,000-€80,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
