Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Civil Engineer for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Binghamton, New York. This position is focused on developing engineering plans for a wide range of civil engineering projects while collaborating closely with project managers, engineers and clients throughout the design process.

The Civil Engineer will create engineering drawings, conduct site visits, perform engineering calculations and analysis, prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews and project meetings. This opportunity requires a minimum of 5 years of experience. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is not required.

COMPENSATION
• $75,000-$85,000

CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN
• Create engineering drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Develop engineering plans for civil engineering projects
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure designs comply with applicable regulations and standards
• Review and revise designs based on stakeholder feedback

PROJECT COLLABORATION
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings
• Provide technical input and project support
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders throughout the design process

SITE & CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT
• Conduct site visits
• Gather necessary information for design development
• Prepare technical specifications and reports
• Prepare cost estimates for construction projects

RELOCATION
• Relocation candidates will only be considered from the Tri-State Area

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience REQUIRED
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field REQUIRED
• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD REQUIRED
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills REQUIRED
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities REQUIRED
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously REQUIRED
• Strong attention to detail REQUIRED
• Ability to work onsite in Binghamton, NY REQUIRED
