About ParallelDots
ParallelDots builds AI-powered image recognition and retail execution technology that helps the world's largest CPG and FMCG brands turn what's happening on the shelf into measurable action. Operating across 40+ countries, we are recognized as a mature, high-accuracy player in some of the most technically demanding retail markets in the world.
Our customers are global leaders in FMCG, AlcoBev, and Confectionery. Our edge isn't just recognition accuracy — it's helping commercial teams act on shelf reality to drive availability, compliance, and growth. We're now looking for a marketing leader to tell that story at scale and build the engine that converts category leadership into pipeline and revenue.
The Role
We're hiring a Director of Marketing to own and scale ParallelDots' global marketing function. You'll set the strategy and run the execution across demand generation, product marketing, brand, and thought leadership — building a marketing engine that sells a technical product to senior commercial and revenue leaders at enterprise CPG companies.
This is a builder's role for someone who has done this before: you've owned marketing at a B2B SaaS company, you know how to generate pipeline that sales can close, and you can make a sophisticated product legible to a business buyer.
What You'll Do
-
Own the strategy. Define and run ParallelDots' global marketing strategy across the full funnel — from awareness to pipeline to revenue contribution.
-
Drive demand. Build and lead demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting enterprise CPG, FMCG, AlcoBev, and Confectionery accounts.
-
Lead product marketing. Own positioning, messaging, and sales enablement; translate a technically deep product into a clear value narrative for commercial, revenue, and category leaders (CROs, CCOs, CGOs).
-
Build the brand. Establish ParallelDots as the category authority on retail execution through high-quality thought leadership, content, webinars, and events across our markets.
-
Align with revenue. Partner tightly with Sales and Growth on shared pipeline and revenue targets, service-level expectations, and feedback loops.
-
Run on data. Own marketing analytics, attribution, and reporting; make budget and channel decisions grounded in performance.
-
Build the team. Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team and manage external agencies and partners.
-
Operate globally. Steward the brand and adapt go-to-market across 40+ markets.
What You Bring
Required:
-
You have been the Head of Marketing — VP, Director, or CMO-level — at a B2B SaaS company that sells into enterprises. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
-
10+ years in B2B marketing, including 4+ years in a senior marketing leadership role.
-
A proven track record of building demand generation and pipeline that the sales team converts into revenue.
-
Hands-on experience with enterprise ABM and long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
-
Strong product marketing skills — you can take a complex, technical product and make it compelling to a non-technical business buyer.
-
Experience building, leading, and scaling marketing teams.
-
A data-driven operator fluent in marketing analytics, attribution, and budget ownership.
Bonus points:
-
Experience marketing AI, computer vision, data, or analytics products.
-
Domain exposure to retail technology, CPG, or FMCG.
-
Experience running marketing across multiple regions or globally.
-
A track record of selling to commercial and revenue leaders (CROs, CCOs, CGOs).
