Senior Engineer

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES , a leading firm specializing in forensic engineering for heavy industrial structures, is expanding its presence in Dubai. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to join team. 

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops engineered solutions that sustain and enhance infrastructure across a broad range of end-user markets. We serve owners and managers of infrastructure, as well as designers, engineers, and general contractors, across the U.S. and in select international markets.

 Key Candidate Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• SE registration at DM and have SOE membership is an advantage.
• Knows basic requirements for supervising personnel and how to manage design activities.
•        Familiar with regulations and industry codes and standards.
•        Can participate and lead initial project studies and help develop the sale approach.
•        Understands technical issues their impact on project cost and schedule.
•        capable of resolving technical and construction issues with third parties (customer, engineers, suppliers, and officials)
•        Can plan, schedule, and coordinate documents and activities for major projects.
•        Advanced understanding of repair materials and strengthen solutions.
• Supervision of one or two junior engineers
•        Ability to provide guidance on project design development
•        Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Can develop plan and delegate to team members to deliver the project per customer requirements.
•        Makes timely decisions after obtaining input from others to maintain team progress.
•        Dedicated to quality and safety culture.
•        Displays adherence to company operating principles.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
•        Demonstrates competence and confidence to deliver technical presentations
•        Demonstrates ability to conduct effective meetings
• Ability to develop advanced structure models and perform gravity and lateral analysis using analysis/design software such as:
  •    ETABS
  •    SAFE
  •    SAP2000 or RAM concept
• Ability to use prestressing and post- tensioning software such as ADAPT PT and ADAPT Floor to develop design
