Serves as the subject-matter expert for an assigned strategic initiative or transformation program, owning the analytical framework, program design, and stakeholder coordination that drive successful strategy development and organizational change. Advises senior leaders on strategic direction and transformation program design.

The Strategy and Transformation Lead operates with minimal supervision and is the primary point of accountability for assigned strategic initiatives. Decisions impact function-wide strategic outcomes, and the role synthesizes input across clinical, operational, financial, and leadership stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the analytical framework and program design for an assigned strategic initiative or transformation program, independently determining approach and methodology.
• Lead end-to-end strategy development workstreams, including problem framing, data analysis, recommendation development, and executive alignment.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leaders on strategic direction, organizational transformation, and change management.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across clinical, operational, finance, and HR stakeholders to execute transformation initiatives.
• Identify organizational risks and systemic barriers to strategy execution, developing well-supported recommendations for program improvement.
• Coach and provide guidance to Strategy and Transformation Consultant-level staff.
• Develop strategy program tools, analytical frameworks, and transformation management resources that support enterprise-wide strategic execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, finance, economics, organizational development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategy, management consulting, strategic operations, transformation, healthcare operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading complex strategic initiatives or transformation programs from problem definition through recommendation and implementation.
• Advanced ability to structure ambiguous business problems, develop analytical frameworks, synthesize quantitative and qualitative information, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience advising and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on strategic priorities, operating models, organizational change, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to assess operational, financial, organizational, and strategic implications of proposed decisions.
• Experience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple functions, such as clinical operations, business operations, finance, HR, technology, and/or other enterprise functions.
• Demonstrated ability to identify systemic barriers, organizational dependencies, and execution risks and develop practical, evidence-based solutions.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level presentations, recommendations, decision materials, and strategic narratives.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and independently determine appropriate methods and approaches for complex assignments.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or providing substantive guidance to less-experienced strategy, operations, or consulting professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, organizational development, or a related discipline.
• Experience in healthcare strategy, healthcare operations, value-based care, clinical transformation, or healthcare delivery transformation.
• Experience working in a management consulting, internal consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, or enterprise strategy function.
• Experience designing reusable strategic planning, transformation, change-management, or program-management frameworks and tools.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level initiatives involving significant organizational change, operating-model redesign, or cross-functional transformation.
• Familiarity with change-management methodologies, strategic planning frameworks, financial modeling, and/or advanced business analytics.

Compensation Range:

$143,174.00

to

$214,762.00

 

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
