Job Opportunity – Production Planner with Fameccanica in West Chester, OH
Can you build and manage production schedules that keep complex manufacturing operations running smoothly? Do you excel at coordinating across engineering, procurement, logistics, and production to keep projects on track? We’re seeking an experienced Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules, optimize manufacturing processes, and support smooth execution of production‑related projects. In this role, you'll coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage resources, and ensure that production goals align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage production schedules based on demand, capacity, and inventory.
- Provide technical support to resolve process issues, document SOPs and work instructions.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available on time.
- Assess production capacity, recommend adjustments, and plan effective labor/floor utilization.
- Coordinate work orders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, procurement, logistics, and leadership to align production plans.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in production planning, inventory management, or related manufacturing roles.
- Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP or production planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
- Ability to analyze production workflows and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles for improvement.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multi‑functional teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
