Our foundation is built on trust, experience, and uncompromising accuracy. Our people are experts. We work collaboratively. We are relentless in our process and put attention to detail first.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with private credit fund structures, strong knowledge of partnership accounting and GAAP, and a collaborative, client-focused approach. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple funds and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting and administration for a portfolio of private credit and alternative investment funds.
  • Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual NAV calculations, partner capital allocations, and investor reporting deliverables.
  • Manage fund-level accounting activities, including investment transactions, interest income, fee calculations, expense allocations, and accruals.
  • Review capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, carried interest allocations, and waterfall calculations, as applicable.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable reporting standards.
  • Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients, providing technical guidance and ensuring a high level of client service.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, custodians, and other third-party service providers during audit, tax, and reporting cycles.
  • Review portfolio valuations and work closely with investment teams and valuation specialists to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor fund cash activity, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to maintain the integrity of fund financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with fund governing documents, investor agreements, accounting policies, and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, enhance reporting, and implement best practices across fund accounting workflows.
  • Support the onboarding of new funds, investment structures, and strategic client initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop Senior Fund Accountants and Fund Accountants by providing technical guidance, reviewing work product, and supporting professional development.
  • Partner cross-functionally with investor services, treasury, compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless execution of fund administration activities.
  • Assist with special projects, regulatory reporting, system implementations, and process automation initiatives as the business evolves.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of progressive work experience in accounting or audit, with a preference for private credit, fund administration, or public accounting experience.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks promptly.
  • Willingness to take on additional ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Ability to build and maintain advanced spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with a team approach.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA a plus.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
