Billing Team Lead

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To supervise billing clerks; to supervise billing functions ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing; and to ensure proper revenue allocations to company departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises billing clerks providing leadership and guidance.

• Ensures accurate and timely client invoicing; ensures proper revenue allocations to company departments.

• Assists with monthly revenue variance reporting.

• Resolves client billing issues.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Supports the organization's quality program(s).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.

• Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.

• Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

• Four (4) years experience in the accounting field or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include one (1) year supervisory experience.

Skills & Knowledge

• Thorough knowledge of billing principles and procedures

• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills

• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

• Analytical and interpretive skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

Compensation Information:
Salary Range: 67,847.00 - 85,000.00 CAD Annual annually

Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Sedgwick is committed to transparent and equitable pay practices.
