General Accounting & Reporting Specialist

You will be working as Accounting and Reporting – Specialist and will be reporting to Accounting & Reporting Manager – Team Lead and will be a part of Bangalore Hub, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for all the Accounting and Reporting related topic for a specific country/ Cluster and also our subject Matter expert focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of Accounting and reporting and also involved in training individuals and team of people on related accounting topics within the General Accounting (GA) team. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements

• Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to the classification and recoding of financial transactions.
• Executing quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuations monitoring.
• Complying with and helping achieve Internal control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in General Accounting team for applicable templates and participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
• Assisting with data gathering, data entry, and basic financial analysis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.

• You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with Excel, SAP & numbers
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 8-10years of experience in R2R domain.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in SAP, Excel, Business warehouse.
• You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around challenging situations
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of US GAAP, accounting standards
• You are at ease communicating in English
