Income Maintenance Caseworker II - Medicaid Expansion

• Determines applicant/client eligibility in an income maintenance program which includes the intake, processing, and review functions.

• Interviews clients to obtain required information, completing initial applications, verifying the information obtained, determining eligibility or completing scheduled program reviews.

• Explains program requirements and options and advises or refers clients to other program services as appropriate. 

• Performs other duties as assigned, which may include shelter duty.

• One year of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker;

• Or, an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• In lieu of no qualified applicants, work against qualifying applicants may be considered at a salary of $34,964.00.

• Preferred but not required: NCFast Training Certificates, Phases I and II.

       Special Requirements

       Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

• Background records check, drug screen, references and, when applicable, transcripts will be required for the successful candidate.

• Diplomas and Degree must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
