Recently acquired by the same entrepreneurs who transformed Backstage from a legacy print publication into a profitable digital marketplace, Caring Transitions is embarking on an exciting new chapter. We’re investing in every aspect of the business: modernizing our technology, improving the infrastructure, and building a flat culture where good ideas win, initiative is rewarded, and talented people can make a real impact.
The Role:
Caring Transitions is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager, CTBids to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives that grow our online estate sale marketplace. You’ll be joining our Marketing team in Cincinnati, Ohio, which consists of a Digital Marketing Manager, a Senior Marketing Manager, and a VP of Marketing. We’re a creative, hands-on, and pragmatic team that values initiative, personal accountability, and adaptability. We enjoy working together to build marketing programs that help our brand and franchise owners achieve revenue and growth goals.
As our Growth Marketing Manager, CTBids, your primary focus will be to create and manage campaigns to drive bidder growth, seller acquisition, auction participation, and revenue across the CTBids marketplace. You’ll strategize and execute paid, earned, and owned campaigns, test and analyze performance, and build scalable programs that accelerate marketplace growth. In this role, you’ll work closely with the broader marketing team, franchise owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared business goals.
The Growth Marketing Manager, CTBids will report to the Vice President of Marketing.
The salary range for this position is $65,000–$75,000 annually. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Own growth marketing function for CTBids; build, test, and optimize full-funnel campaigns across awareness, consideration, conversion, and customer retention
Develop and execute earned, owned, and paid marketing strategies that increase bidder registrations, repeat purchases, seller acquisition, and auction participation across the CTBids marketplace
Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations that identify growth constraints, new acquisition channels, and emerging advertising opportunities
Continuously test messaging, creative, landing pages, and loyalty program initiatives across segmented audiences and marketing channels to improve engagement and conversion
Create executive dashboards and performance reports that provide clear visibility into campaign results and key business metrics
Support initiatives that increase both supply (auction inventory and sellers) and demand (bidders and buyers)
Partner with Caring Transitions franchise owners to develop localized marketing strategies that maximize auction participation and seller engagement
Who You Are:
You have 3+ years of professional experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies; marketplace, auction, ecommerce, and/or franchise experience strongly preferred
Comfortable managing full-cycle campaigns, including planning, executing, optimizing, testing, iterating, and reporting
Proficient with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), email marketing platforms, and CRM systems for audience segmentation, automation, campaign analysis, and performance reporting
Deeply knowledgeable about social media platforms, you understand how to shape messaging for the different algorithms and audiences across channels
Experience using Canva to design and optimize creative assets preferred
Analytical thinker who understands the full marketing funnel; you delight in finding and fixing the things that aren’t working
Resourceful, flexible, and self-directed, you are comfortable working with limited budgets and finding ways to maximize performance
Clear communicator and flexible partner who enjoys working with a team to achieve mutual goals
Curious and proactive, you stay on top of trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging channels, and suggest ideas for how we should adapt
