Personal Lines Account Executive

Job Summary

An experienced Personal Lines Account Executive is needed to establish and maintain strong client relationships while providing knowledgeable, responsive, and professional insurance service. This role is responsible for supporting clients throughout the policy lifecycle, addressing coverage inquiries, processing policy changes, and helping resolve service-related concerns.

The ideal candidate has extensive personal lines insurance experience, including experience working with high-net-worth clientele and carriers. Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client calls and correspondence regarding new and existing personal insurance policies.

• Assist clients with claims-related questions and service needs.

• Provide detailed information regarding insurance products, coverage options, quotes, and policy services.

• Review and analyze renewals and communicate coverage recommendations or changes.

• Process endorsements, cancellations, and other policy transactions accurately and promptly.

• Provide requested policy documentation and related materials.

• Resolve client concerns by identifying the underlying issue, determining appropriate solutions, coordinating necessary corrections or adjustments, and following up to ensure resolution.

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, inquiries, transactions, and actions within agency management software.

• Collaborate with team members, provide insurance expertise, answer questions, and participate in meetings as needed.

• Perform general administrative and client service duties as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

• Minimum of 5 years of personal lines insurance account management experience.

• Experience working with high-net-worth personal lines carriers such as Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati Insurance, and Berkley One.

• Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, rating procedures, coverage forms, underwriting guidelines, and insurance industry operations.

• Excellent client service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.

• Ability to manage client inquiries and resolve complex service issues independently.

• Comfortable working with technology and agency management software.

• Professional, positive, and collaborative approach when working with clients and colleagues.
