Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, the receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our clients, visitors, and employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multitasking skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Schedule and manage appointments and meetings
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
• Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination
• Handle inquiries and provide information about the company and its services
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Other duties as assigned by the management team

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to handle multiple phone lines and manage high call volumes
• Knowledge of waste management and recycling industry is a plus
