Investment Manager - Real Estate Financing

Zurich, Switzerland

On behalf of our client, a Swiss alternative investment manager, we are recruiting an experienced Investment Manager – Real Estate Financing (M/F).

Building on the strong momentum of its property-financing activity, our client is looking to strengthen its team with a professional who will originate, assess and complete new financing transactions on the domestic market. You will work within a collaborative team that brings together investment and real-estate expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to defining and growing the firm's property-financing strategy in Switzerland
• Identify, assess and price new lending opportunities and carry them through to closing
• Build and maintain relationships with players in the property sector to generate a regular flow of new files
• Lead due-diligence work and the negotiation of financing terms
• Present transactions, with a substantiated recommendation, to the relevant decision-making bodies
• Help prepare investor reporting and supporting materials
• Take part in investor meetings and support the relations team

Requirements:

• At least five years' experience within a Swiss banking environment, focused on assessing and approving property financing
• A track record financing construction and development projects in Switzerland
• A solid personal network for sourcing borrowers in the Swiss property-financing market
• Sound experience in due diligence and credit analysis; familiarity with Swiss financing documentation is a plus
• A degree in economics, finance or law, or an equivalent background
• Comfortable with standard office tools
• Fluent in German or Swiss German and English; French is an advantage
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine team spirit
