Job Details:

General Notes

The Health Outcomes Division (HOD) in the College of Pharmacy focuses on research and education to address salient health issues with the goal of optimizing outcomes. This role is expected to continue until December 31, 2026, with possibility of extension through May 31, 2027.

Purpose

Work study student will assist with day to day office duties and support HOD social media and website initiatives. You will have the opportunity to design graphics and execute posting schedules, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the website committee 

  • Assist with event set up and break down

  • Keep track of engagement metrics

  • Work in compliance with all university, departmental, and programmatic policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Assist with mail distribution and inventory

  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Eligible for Work-Study employment with UT

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Experience working with Canva or similar graphic design platforms

  • Familiarity with social media platforms like LinkedIn is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Reliable and organized

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in healthcare

Salary Range

  • $11.00 per hour

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

  • Lifting and moving

Work Shift

  • 10-12 hours per week; hours between Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
