What this job involves:

The Performance Analyst has responsibility on an account/platform for data, reporting and analytics processes that touch all aspects of service delivery to be consistent with corporate standards. This role is critical to the success of the client relationship in driving performance management, process improvement and innovation through fact-based decision making. Using experience, you will uncover several perspectives on a problem or opportunity, determining any and all drivers or barriers to successful performance, and make recommendations based on what is discovered. You will understand contract key performance indicator and reporting requirements and client expectations while devising and promoting creative data visualization to derive actionable intelligence. You will develop automated tools and dashboards to provide real-time insights to business data, analyze trends of monthly Key Performance Indicator results for performance improvement concepts, and provide subject matter expertise for all data-related processes and analyses. Your ability to process large amounts of data in an organized manner, use advanced statistical concepts to determine significant sources of variability, and convey complex concepts into widely accepted language is essential to success in this role.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Understand contract key performance indicator and reporting requirements and client expectations
• Devise and promote creative data visualization to derive actionable intelligence
• Perform data modeling, analysis and compilation of quantitative data
• Forecast and trend performance data while performing process mapping and efficiency analysis
• Develop recommendations based on data interpretation and analysis to transform behaviors and techniques
• Develop automated tools and dashboards to provide real-time insights to business data
• Use advanced statistical concepts to determine significant sources of variability
• Provide subject matter expertise for all data-related processes and analyses
• Analyze trends of monthly Key Performance Indicator results for performance improvement concepts
• Create, maintain, and optimize account-wide client-facing dashboards
• Draft and distribute reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Develop visualizations that will be used to tell a story and provide actionable intelligence.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology or related field
• 2-4 years of work experience
• Strong experience working with relational databases and large data sets
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong visualization skills with systems such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Amazon QuickSight
• High level skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet
• Ability to process large amounts of data in an organized manner
• Ability to deal comfortably with senior managers and present without undue tension and nervousness
• Technical learning ability with capacity to pick up on technical things quickly and learn new skills and knowledge
• Strong communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts into language that can be widely accepted and easily articulate ideas and logic behind all approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Alteryx experience
• SharePoint experience
• Experience in facility management, corporate real estate, or related industries
• Advanced statistical analysis experience
• Background in process improvement methodologies
• Experience with additional data visualization and business intelligence tools.
