Position: Accounts Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and submit invoices for clients
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor and track company expenses
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations is a plus
