 Job Type: Full-time, 40+ hours, Monday–Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pay Scale: $60,000–$80,000 base, plus uncapped commission
Location: 630 Proctor Ave NW, Elk River, MN 55330

Beaudry Oil & Propane is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Motor Oil team. This position is responsible for handling inbound sales calls, turning customer inquiries into sales, and growing relationships with new and existing customers. The ideal candidate has strong sales and communication skills, is comfortable using computer systems, and can manage quotes, orders, and follow-up while meeting sales goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Handle inbound sales calls, identify customer needs, recommend products, and close sales.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to grow sales and encourage repeat business.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through product recommendations, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Prepare competitive quotes and proactively follow up to secure orders.
• Meet and exceed established sales targets and goals.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to customers and prospects to generate additional business.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on motor oil and lubricant products, pricing, and availability.
• Process sales orders accurately and maintain current customer and sales records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about company products, industry trends, and market conditions.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Sales experience, preferably in the motor oil, lubricant, or fuel industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a strong professional phone presence
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Ability to identify creative sales opportunities and effectively communicate the value of company products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, and customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing quotes, orders, and customer follow-up
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable transportation
