Overview of this Position:

The Head of Supply Chain will design, execute, and scale the end-to-end global supply chain strategy across the enterprise. This high-impact executive role owns the integration of material management, procurement, warehousing, and multi-site logistics. Crucially, this position carries full accountability for establishing, executing, and evolving GRAM’s Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework, harmonizing client demand forecasts while challenging capacity constraints. Additionally, this position is responsible for all Client Service, Master Data, Procurement and Inventory Control functions. Furthermore, this role must establish goals and objectives, supervise work practices for direct reports, interpret and execute policies and procedures that typically affect organizational units. At the senior level, this position requires extensive independent judgment, ability to interact with senior leadership, plan and execute site strategy aligned to GRAM’s vison and objectives.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with over 10 years’ experience providing strategic and operational leadership in a customer driven planning and logistics environment. 
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (CDMO preferred) experience is needed, with SLT responsibility.
• Managing Supply Chain in an ERP environment, system implementation experience is needed.
• As the interface with the client and Operations Team, actively contribute to the development and implementation of logistics and planning strategy. 
• Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Establish and lead a mature, monthly multi-site S&OP process that balances client commercial/clinical forecasts with manufacturing reality across multi-site facilities.
• Facilitate Executive S&OP meetings, translating raw data into actionable decision matrices for capacity expansions, capital expenditure (CapEx), labor planning, and inventory optimization.
• Develop cross-facility capacity modeling to dynamically adjust scheduling based on machine down-times, line validations, client delays, or regulatory holds.
• Optimize local logistics and tracking mechanisms for intermediate materials, raw ingredients, and single-use assemblies moving between the 5 co-located manufacturing and warehousing sites.
• Manage Commercial supply agreements, ensure highest level of service levels and timely batch release.
• Intervene and resolve current / upcoming servicing issues through strong cross functional processes.
• Implement and manage the planning and release function to ensure optimal processing of client orders.
• Work closely with operations and quality to develop production/laboratory capacity plans and strategies for the medium and long term.
• Negotiate and manage supply agreements and co-ordinate Supply Chain related items with clients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of logistics and planning strategy by interfacing with the client and operations Teams.
