Job Description
Are you a motivated and ambitious recruiter or sales professional looking to build a successful career in a growing market?
Our successful Newbury office is expanding, and we're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing desk, develop strong client relationships, and play a key role in the continued success of a high-performing and profitable office.
Whether you already have recruitment experience or come from a sales or business development background, you'll be supported by an experienced leadership team with a proven track record of developing consultants and helping them achieve their career goals.
Why join us?
Join a growing market
Industrial recruitment is a key area of investment, with strong demand across manufacturing, distribution and FMCG sectors. You'll inherit a warm desk with existing business while also having significant opportunity to develop new client relationships and grow your own market.
Be part of a successful team
The Newbury office is enjoying a period of sustained growth and delivered its best-ever financial performance last year, with ambitions to exceed this again. You'll join a collaborative and supportive team where everyone works together to help each other succeed.
Learn from experienced leaders
You'll work alongside experienced managers who have progressed through the business themselves and understand what it takes to build a successful recruitment career. Ongoing coaching, mentoring and structured development will help you maximise your potential.
Genuine career progression
Success is recognised and rewarded. Recent team members have achieved impressive billing milestones and rapid progression, demonstrating the opportunities available for ambitious individuals.
Your role will involve:
Developing new business opportunities through outbound sales activity, networking and client meetings.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across Reading, Newbury, Bracknell and Oxford.
Managing temporary recruitment processes including admin, compliance and timesheets
Sourcing and engaging industrial talent including warehouse operatives, production staff and forklift drivers.
Conducting client visits to understand workforce requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
Delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.
Working towards performance targets and achieving personal and team objectives.
Identifying opportunities to grow market share and expand the client base.
What you'll bring:
Recruitment experience in a 360 agency environment, or proven success within a sales, business development or telesales role.
A proactive and resilient approach with the drive to achieve results.
Confidence building relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle, or currently learning to drive, would be advantageous due to client visits across the region.
Benefits:
Unlimited earning potential with a clear, uncapped bonus structure paid every four weeks.
Transparent career pathways leading to regular promotions and salary increases.
Opportunities to progress into senior and leadership positions.
Industry-leading learning and development programmes.
Exclusive high achiever rewards, including luxury holidays, technology bundles and lifestyle incentives.
Generous sabbatical opportunities linked to length of service.
Flexible hybrid working.
Supportive and inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.
Feel what it’s like to truly belong…
