Position Objective
Key Responsibilities
Manage comprehensive financial operations for the account including monthly close processes, financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and accurate reporting to both client and JLL leadership within established deadlines.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets (OPEX) and capital expenditure plans (CAPEX), conducting quarterly forecasts and reforecasts to ensure financial targets are met and providing strategic recommendations for cost optimization.
- Perform detailed financial analysis of operational performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and presenting actionable insights to site leadership and client stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate client invoicing, cash flow management, and resolution of billing discrepancies or disputes.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, JLL policies, client requirements, and SOX regulations, while supporting internal and external audits.
- Partner with operations, sourcing, and site leadership teams to provide financial guidance on procurement decisions, contract negotiations, headcount planning, and operational initiatives impacting P&L performance.
- Manage the financial aspects of vendor contracts and service agreements, tracking accruals, processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring accurate cost allocation across service lines.
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations, business reviews, and ad-hoc analysis for client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in financial management, accounting, or FP&A roles, preferably in facilities management, real estate services, corporate services, or professional services environments with P&L responsibility.
- Languages: Bilingual - Spanish and English (advanced-fluent), capable of preparing financial reports, presenting to executive audiences, and communicating complex financial concepts effectively in both languages.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE), financial management software, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, cost accounting, and financial controls.
- Leadership Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, and capability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Availability: Flexibility during month-end close periods, audit seasons, and budget cycles to meet critical financial deadlines.
Desired Skills
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or equivalent credentials.
- Experience with financial systems implementation, process improvement initiatives, and automation of financial reporting through tools like Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel macros.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing, multi-entity consolidations, and international accounting standards relevant to multinational corporate environments.
- Strong business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights and recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in the technology sector, corporate real estate, or facilities management industry with understanding of service delivery models and cost structures.
- Advanced financial modeling capabilities including scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, ROI calculations, and long-term financial forecasting.
