Description
The Career Link Assistant plays a key role in supporting program execution, employer engagement, and data tracking efforts that contribute to enrollment growth, employer satisfaction, and student success. This position provides hands-on experience in workforce development, project coordination, and employer relations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support Career Link Program Managers and Employer Consultants in the coordination and execution of employer-sponsored training programs
• Prepare and assemble training materials (printing, binders, training kits, digital resources, etc.)
• Assist with event logistics including room setup, technology checks, catering coordination, and post-event teardown
• Collect, compile, and summarize course evaluations and participant feedback to support continuous improvement and employer reporting
• Maintain accurate training rosters, attendance records, and completion documentation
• Generate and distribute training certificates for participants
• Run reports and track key metrics (enrollments, completions, employer engagement, etc.) using Excel and internal systems
• Support outreach and marketing efforts for open enrollment training opportunities (email campaigns, flyer distribution, social media content, etc.)
• Assist with employer engagement activities such as campus visits, showcase events, and networking opportunities
• Provide general administrative support including supply ordering, scheduling assistance, and document management
General Qualifications:
• Ability to handle confidential and financial information with professionalism and discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook required; PowerPoint preferred)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications:
1. Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
2. Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status
Pay Rate: $15/hr.
