Business Analyst and Prompt Engineer

Place of work: Remote, Slovakia

Base salary:  minimum 2000€ / monthly (depending on experiences and quality of the candidate)

Contract type: full-time

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and recommend opportunities for optimization through process redesign, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. 

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to elicit and document  user stories, use cases, and functional/non-functional requirements.  

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes using low‑code automation and AI‑assisted solutions, initially with generative AI. 

• Build and test AI‑enabled workflows under supervision, with humans kept firmly in the loop. 

• Help refine prompts, workflows, and automation logic based on feedback and performance data. 

• Track metrics such as cost avoidance, time saved, error reduction, and adoption. 

• Use evidence and feedback to recommend improvements and next steps. 

• Learn and apply responsible AI, data privacy, and governance standards in everything you do. 

• Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify standard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data. 

• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability  

• Maintain relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations. 

• Create comprehensive and clear documentation such as business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements documents (FRD), and use case specifications. 

• Develop process models, workflow diagrams, and prototypes to depict proposed solutions. 

• Work closely with IT Architects, technical teams (in particular AI Delivery), vendors to design feasible solutions fullfill business needs. 

• Evaluate existing Convatec systems and propose improvements or new solutions to optimize processes. 

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements. 

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery. 

• Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels. 

• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development. 

• Assist in test planning and support the Technical teams in developing test cases that validate the implemented solutions against requirements. 

• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations.

Education/ Qualifications 

Essential qualifications, education, and certifications necessary for success in the role.  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 

• 3+ Years experience working as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role. 

• Experience using Generative AI and refining prompts (Copilot or similar). 

• Understanding of Ai assisted business analysis techniques 

• Familiarity with prompt and agentic design, testing and optimization 

• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop controls 

• Familiarity in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, prototype/wireframes and user journey flows). 

• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information clearly. 

• Experience within in the Medical Device Technology /Health Care field is a big plus. 

• Experience with data analysis, SQL, or business intelligence tools. 

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or relevant other professional certifications desirable. 

Experience in these domains are valued specially in Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical Industry 

• SAP/SAP S/4HANA (Fin, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Supply Chain) 

• (QMS) Quality Management Systems (CC, QA) 

• (PLM) Product Life Cycle Management Systems (Product Data, Product Development, Standards) 

• (MES) Manufacturing Execution Systems and Processes 

• Sales and Marketing (CRM Systems)
