Virginia Water, Surrey
Fixed Term Contract (Mat Leave cover) – December 2026 – December 2027
Hybrid - 3 days in the office
Are you ready to take the lead in delivering key sponsorship programmes across one of the biggest events in golf? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Partnership Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of key sponsorships across the 2027 Ryder Cup and DP World Tour
About The Role:
In this role you'll be the go-to person for our partners, managing day-to-day relationships, bringing sponsorship activations to life and ensuring all contractual rights are delivered. You'll collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, Broadcast, Content, Digital, Media, and Championship Management to create and execute integrated partner programs that drive engagement and value. This role will be focussed on the delivery of the Ryder Cup, working with key partners and suppliers, with some of your time combined with delivery across the DP World Tour tournaments.
To succeed, you'll need strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a solid understanding of sports sponsorship and brand activation. Being highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, event-driven environment is a must.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the biggest events in sport, with a prestigious portfolio of commercial partners. The role may involve international travel and extended hours during key events – particularly in September 2027.
Due to tournament requirements of the role, you will need to be free to work at the 2027 Ryder Cup, Adare Manor, Ireland, in the build up and during week of September 13 – 19.
What You'll Do:
- Manage sponsor accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual commitments.
- Foster strong relationships with partners, suppliers, agencies, and internal teams through proactive communication.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key sponsor contacts, managing expectations and identifying opportunities to enhance partnerships.
- Plan, project manage and deliver onsite activations for multiple tournament partners
- Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on track.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports, presentations, and communications to update stakeholders and demonstrate partnership value.
- Oversee sponsorship-related invoicing, budget tracking, and other financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in sponsorship or account management, ideally from a rights holder, agency or brand background.
- First-hand experience working on-site at major events or within a sponsorship-led business.
- Preferably you will have experience within sports sponsorship, with a proven track record of managing multiple sponsorship activations and events.
- Experience managing internal teams and external partners to deliver effective sponsorship programs.
- Familiarity with financial processes, invoicing, and reporting within a sponsorship or marketing function.
- A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions.
- Adaptability and initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
