Summary of This Role
This role is accountable for owning and driving end‑to‑end, multi‑channel marketing programs across SMB and direct‑to‑merchant segments, with a strong focus on scalable acquisition, activation, and early‑stage growth. The role leads marketing program strategy, prioritisation, and performance, working closely with sales, merchant services, and shared marketing teams to deliver sustainable pipeline and revenue growth outcomes.

The salary range for this position is 120,000 to 140,000 + superannuation
What you’ll own
Own and execute our SMB and direct‑to‑merchant marketing programs across acquisition, activation, and initial growth stages.
Design scalable, repeatable integrated campaign frameworks and plays to support consistent SMB and direct growth across priority segments.
Partner with Sales and Merchant facing teams to align marketing programs with commercial priorities and target segments.
Collaborate with Digital & Campaign and Marketing Automation functions to deliver and optimise multi‑channel campaigns
Track, analyse, and optimise program performance, including lead quality, conversion rates, and cost efficiency.
What you’ll bring
- Skills: wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve moderately complex issues in creative and effective ways. Having ownership of a sub-function, account or matrix management responsibilities, applies knowledge to meet goals, maintain relationships, propose opportunities to expand the business, and lead matrix teams. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).
- Job Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Builds on/Maintains external relationships of assigned accounts.
- Supervision: Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
- Marketing production execution - Broad marketing services and/or print/production
- Communication skills: Including communication with internal or external audiences
- Proven ability to operate effectively in high‑volume, fast‑moving sales environments, demonstrating strong ownership of targets, performance, and continuous optimisation.
- Strong stakeholder management capability, can articulate cause‑and‑effect of marketing programs and translate performance metrics, insights, and optimisation decisions into commercially relevant narratives for non‑marketing audiences.
- Experienced in managing agencies and external partners, with clear accountability for delivery quality, timelines, and agreed commercial outcomes.
- Experience in SMB, B2B or B2B2C acquisition and growth demand generation marketing
- Strong understanding of campaign‑based growth models, inbound digital acquisition, funnel optimisation, and lead attribution and lifecycle stages.
- Experience working with CRM, marketing automation platforms, and performance reporting dashboards.
