Description
The Product Support Sales Representative will maximize user satisfaction and acceptance for the Company’s Parts and Service products. In additional to the that will be able to assist users in achieving low operating cost through recommending Service Product options and appropriate product support programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of Parts and Service Merchandising programs.
- Perform undercarriage inspections.
- Actively manage collections, manage the details of invoices, payments, the company and the client’s payment systems.
- Maintain sales materials.
- Collect, analyze and provide market information i.e., projected customers’ parts requirements for inventory forecasting, competitive parts report, MEP (Machine Engine Population) data.
- Demonstrate self-development.
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience. I.e., at least 3 years work experience as Sales Representative in heavy equipment industry.
- Good understanding of product support commodities.
- Experience in commercial or marketing management functions.
- Good communications skills, good negotiating skills, tenacity, self-motivated and good IT skills are a prerequisite.
- Ability to operate and interpret Caterpillar technical aids including SIS, PSK’s Microfiche and dealer software.
