Your Opportunity
Every day, behind life-changing services are people who keep everything running smoothly. As our Administration Officer based in Dubbo, you'll play a vital role supporting teams that work alongside Australians facing challenges, while providing essential administrative and operational support across our Murrumbidgee, Central and Western service teams. Helping to connect people, programs and operations, you'll ensure our services run efficiently and our frontline teams can focus on delivering positive outcomes for individuals, families and communities. This fixed-term parental leave cover opportunity through to December 2027 is ideal for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys building relationships, coordinating competing priorities and delivering high-quality support in a purpose-driven environment.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide administrative and operational support to service teams across the Murrumbidgee, Central and Western regions, ensuring efficient communication, coordination and service delivery.
- Manage reception and front-of-house enquiries, visitors and phone calls.
- Respond to enquiries and complaints professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate meetings, including invitations, room bookings, catering and minute-taking.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and administrative documentation.
- Process financial transactions, petty cash and corporate card expenses in line with policy.
- Organise travel and accommodation arrangements as required.
- Maintain administration systems including diaries, records, filing and archiving.
- Monitor office supplies and maintain inventory of office assets.
- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
Requirements for Success
- Previous experience in an administration or business support role.
- Experience preparing meeting packs, agendas, minutes and reports.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Sound knowledge of administrative systems and office procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Relevant qualifications in Administration, Business or a related discipline are desirable.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
