About the Role

McKesson is seeking a Business Analyst, Digital Workplace to help improve how teams use technology, data, and business processes to deliver effective solutions. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and project partners to gather and document requirements, map current and future-state workplace technology processes, analyze data, and support solution delivery from discovery through implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements, using tools such as Excel and Power BI to uncover insights, and helping stakeholders adopt practical, scalable technology solutions. The role supports McKesson’s focus on collaboration, systems thinking, data-driven decision-making, and business impact.

What You’ll Do

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for workplace technology initiatives.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, process-mapping workshops, and stakeholder discussions to clarify needs and define outcomes.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
• Analyze business and operational data using Excel, Power BI, and related tools to support recommendations and decisions.
• Support user acceptance testing by defining test scenarios, validating functionality, documenting results, and tracking issues.
• Partner with business, IT, and cross-functional teams to support implementation, adoption, communication, and change readiness.
• Develop and maintain user documentation, process guides, training materials, and reporting artifacts.

Basic Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for technology or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience creating process maps, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, or functional specifications.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, or decision support.
• Experience working with stakeholders across business and technology teams to clarify needs, resolve issues, and support delivery.
• Experience supporting UAT, testing coordination, issue tracking, or solution validation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings and present recommendations.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with Power BI dashboards, reporting, data visualization, or KPI tracking.
• Experience with workplace technology, productivity tools, collaboration platforms, or enterprise IT services.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, backlog refinement, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar work management tools.
• Experience with requirements traceability, business process modeling, impact assessment, or change readiness.
• Ability to use data and stakeholder input to identify process improvements and recommend practical solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise, healthcare, regulated, or large-scale technology environments.
• Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$81,500 - $108,600
