Lead Digital Product Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is looking for a dynamic Lead Digital Product Manager to join the Digital Onboarding and Servicing team. As the product management group responsible for the digital experiences to support onboarding and servicing journeys for all Commercial and Corporate and Investment Banking clients, we have the ability to make immediate and long-lasting impacts to support our clients and their journey through their lifecycle with Wells Fargo.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact
• Act as key participant in large-scale planning
• Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
• Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
• Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
• Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
• Act as an expert and advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment.
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise.
• Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
• Coordinate across highly complex initiatives and provide guidance to others.
• Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact.
• Drive AI-powered solutions to solve customer pain points and improve customer outcomes.
• Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably commercial or corporate banking
• Experience leading major online customer products, programs, and experience with significant platform/product redesign definitions and launch.
• Experience in AI, product management/development, program management, strategy, and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries.

• Demonstrated success in end-to-end product management, from discovery through execution; experience developing strategy, roadmaps, business cases for a product or service.
• Ability to translate business needs into analysis, designs and recommendations. Use analysis to identify and define business requirements, while supporting the validity of the final product.
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other businesses and functional areas.
• Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
• Ability to influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships at all levels.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills along with stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead comfortably through ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions.
• Recognized as a thought leader and subject matter expert.
• Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs.
• Demonstrable knowledge of product management discipline and agile software delivery.
• Demonstrable experience of engaging technology teams and other stakeholders to support important business decisions.
• Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, information architecture, software build, design thinking and service design techniques.

Job Expectations:

• Ability to work on-site at approved location for three to four days per week.
• Flexible work hours include overlap with pacific time zone.
