POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the developing and directing an integrated media strategy and advertising, promotion, public relations, and direct mail communications strategy consistent with Transwestern standards. To meet production requirements in a cost effective and timely manner that results in an increased target market awareness of the team’s strengths and capabilities.
Additionally, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, creation, and production of assigned creative projects in support of marketing initiatives and requires extensive knowledge of multi-faceted design concepts, media, and software platforms. The Marketing Manager creates original graphic designs and comprehensive layout concepts in conjunction with firm brand, and leads the production of materials such as brochures, collateral, direct mail, and advertisements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide graphic support for regional marketing team and executive leadership.
Conceptualize, plan, design, and produce a wide range of graphic and/or illustrative material, from simple to complex (i.e. brochures, fact sheets, direct mail, etc.).
Coordinate the production process; develop and write printing and/or other production specifications, and select appropriate production media and materials.
Design service line newsletters, internal leadership communications and regional client newsletters.
Design multimedia presentations as needed (flash e-mail, videos, etc.)
Execute all regional website, maintenance and minor content updates.
Create graphics for local and regional event and tradeshows under direction of regional marketing team.
Maintain relationship with all printing vendors.
Other design responsibilities as assigned by regional marketing team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in print/web design, marketing, and/or public relations preferred.
A minimum of 4 years of marketing experience.
Must have expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (preferably PC-based.)
Knowledge of Macromedia Studio MX tools (i.e. Dreamweaver and Flash.)
HTML experience required.
Experience with Flash ActionScript 2.0 and JavaScript a plus.
MS Office Suite experience.
Must be able to multitask, adapt to changing priorities on a regular basis and handle a continually heavy workload.
Must be able to perform tasks that require a large amount of concentration, and incorporate interruptions and changing priorities into the workflow.
Goal oriented.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Customer and quality driven.
Travel within region maybe required.
Must have reliable transportation to and from office.
Must be willing to work extended hours as necessary to complete workload.
