POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing initiatives that elevate brand awareness, drive visitation, and enhance the guest experience across all resort offerings. This role coordinates digital and traditional marketing campaigns, creates engaging content, manages project timelines, and collaborates with internal departments and external partners to ensure consistent brand representation. Through strategic marketing efforts, the Marketing Coordinator helps attract new guests, strengthens loyalty among existing guests, and supports the resort's overall business objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and special events.
- Assist with project coordination, timelines, approvals, and deliverables.
- Maintain marketing calendars and track project deadlines.
- Coordinate marketing requests from resort departments and business partners.
- Assist with creating, editing, and proofreading marketing content for digital and print channels.
- Support website content updates and routine quality assurance reviews.
- Help organize and maintain marketing assets, including photography, video, and creative files.
- Ensure marketing materials align with established brand standards.
- Assist with email marketing campaign creation, scheduling, and deployment.
- Support social media content scheduling and publishing.
- Monitor and compile basic campaign performance metrics and reports.
- Assist with promotional updates across digital marketing channels.
- Maintain organized records, project files, and department resources.
- Assist with meeting coordination, presentation preparation, and project documentation.
- Support invoice processing, vendor coordination, and other departmental administrative functions as needed.
- Help manage inventory of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
- Assist with on-property marketing initiatives, signage, and promotional materials.
- Support the planning and execution of special events and resort activations.
- Collaborate with operational teams to gather information and support marketing efforts across the resort.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous internship, coursework, or experience in marketing, hospitality, tourism, communications, or customer service is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Highly organized, creative, and passionate about storytelling, with the ability to showcase the unique experiences, natural beauty, and luxury amenities that define our resort.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of hospitality marketing concepts, digital marketing strategies, social media platforms, and brand management principles.
- Skilled in content creation, written communication, project coordination, and campaign execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing platforms, and content management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic resort environment.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve results.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Creative mindset with demonstrated ability to tell compelling brand stories that drive guest engagement and visitation.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and a high level of attention to detail in all marketing activities.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
