Description
- Coordinate end-to-end procurement tasks including market research, tendering/quotes, and contract negotiation to support Category Managers
- Review approved requisitions and processes to convert them to Purchase Orders with a focus on low value and catalogue purchases
- Collect all relevant information needed to ensure requisitions can be processed, including requesting quotations from suppliers from time to time
- Ensure all data and relevant information is shared with the Buying Lead and stored within the agreed shared Procurement Workspace
- Resolve all requisition non-compliance matters and report on these monthly to the Team Lead
- General Procurement as required and process-related administration
- Support Buying Lead in executing the procurement strategy/category plans, and work proactively with the Group Procurement team to improve processes and data capture to expedite Beca’s end to end procure to pay process
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing a professional and quality service to all internal and external clients
- Act in a timely manner to complete all internal client requests, and inform clients when unable to meet expectations and reach agreement on the course of action
- Possess a good understanding of Beca’s business activities
- Collaborate effectively with appropriate internal clients and stakeholders in Beca offices
- Build rapport and communicate professionally with all team members, clients and suppliers even when the situation becomes difficult
- Seek specific and constructive feedback to support personal development
