Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing, family-owned insurance agency. This is a client-focused servicing role, ideal for a professional with strong Commercial Lines expertise who thrives in a collaborative and relationship-driven environment. You will play a key role in managing renewals, servicing accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $67,000–$85,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)
Responsibilities
- Manage the renewal process from start to finish.
- Provide day-to-day client servicing, including endorsements, certificates, audits, policy changes, and claims reporting/follow-up.
- Communicate with carriers and underwriters to resolve coverage or service issues.
- Assist producers with submissions and follow-ups.
- Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate client files and ensure compliance with agency standards.
- Assist with new and renewal quoting, as well as remarketing when necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- Active Ohio Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of Commercial Lines experience.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, including BOP, General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Umbrella, and Commercial Auto.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple accounts.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
