Description
What will you be doing?
As a Maintenance Engineer, you are a true central link when it comes to maintenance. You work closely with colleagues on deviations and optimization. This is a varied role in which you have plenty of freedom and flexibility to organize your work.
You are jointly responsible for the reliability of our machine park, which consists of 20 converting lines and a high-tech automated warehouse and transport system. On an average day, 2 million square meters of cardboard pass through these lines.
Your role consists of three main components:
- Root Cause Analyses, where you take on a facilitating and sometimes investigative role to identify the real issues in the production lines and bring them back to standard or even improve the standard. It is important that you can liaise with OEMs and other experts, and that you are not afraid to go to the line yourself for a deep dive.
- Preventive maintenance plans, setting up and improving the maintenance concept together with work planners and technicians, making the right risk-based decisions. You will also introduce new maintenance methodologies that help further professionalize our organization.
- Modifications/projects, carrying out or supervising modifications performed both internally and externally, aimed at increasing the efficiency and/or reliability of our machine park. You ensure that improvements have real impact and that ideas from the shop floor are jointly reviewed and the best ones are implemented. In addition, you will be involved in integral improvement programs linked to areas such as Safety and Quality.
