Role summary:The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, HVAC is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related building equipment to ensure optimal facility operations. This role involves interpreting technical documentation, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and control issues, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The technician collaborates with management and facility partners to support operational efficiency, manages work assignments using digital tools, and participates in on-call rotations. What you'll do:
- Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC systems, building equipment, ductwork, and control components in compliance with codes and standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues affecting HVAC and facility systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal system operation and reduce downtime.
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely while adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders.
- Communicate effectively with facility operators and partners regarding service needs and status.
- Manage work assignments using digital tools and participate in on-call rotations as required.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, layout plans, and documentation accurately.
- Skilled in configuring and calibrating building automation and direct digital control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and adherence to safety protocols in all tasks.
- Competence in preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Vocational or technical HVAC certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC and building controls.Option 1: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, plumbing, material handling- equipment, or related trades.
Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for the handling and servicing of refrigerants.• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
