Role summary:The Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing, is responsible for operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety across various facility surfaces. This role involves evaluating cleaning requirements, performing preventative maintenance on machinery, and adhering to established safety protocols. The position requires effective communication with facility users and collaboration with team members to address service requests and maintain operational standards. Additionally, the technician supports seasonal exterior maintenance and vehicle upkeep, contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility environment in alignment with company policies and quality expectations.

What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Evaluate cleaning areas to determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and methods for effective results.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on power washing machinery and corporate vehicles.
- Respond to work orders, document tasks, and communicate updates with facility users and management.
- Collaborate with teams to support operational priorities and maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to uphold facility safety.
- Manage equipment inventory, perform repairs, and ensure proper storage of tools and vehicles.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment and related machinery.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to perform preventative maintenance on power washing and heavy equipment.
- Ability to evaluate surfaces and determine appropriate cleaning methods and pressure settings.
- Skilled in operating corporate vehicles and conducting required vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with facility users, managers, and team members effectively.
- Ability to document work accurately using electronic devices and maintain equipment inventory.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Must be 21 years of age or older.Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and maintain a minimum of a 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
As required by Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight or weekends.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
