Role Overview – Financial Controller (4-6 years)
Role Summary/ Purpose
Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting. This includes preparing consolidated financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis for stakeholders.
Manage accounting operations, including billing, A/R, and ensure Revenue Recognition as per IFRS-15. Prepare monthly reconciliation of deferred revenue & deferred costs for CFO review, which helps to identify the unreconciled & Open items. It also includes preparing and reviewing multiple balance sheet reconciliation accounts, which helps smooth closing."
Ensured compliance with local and international financial reporting, VAT, and ZATCA E-invoicing regulations; also maintained the year-end revenue & VAT reconciliation in response to ZATCA requirements.
Managed project financial controlling, monitoring project costs, commitments, revenues, and margins.
Prepared and presented quarterly Balance Sheet slides for Board meetings, highlighting key movements, financial position, and significant variances against prior periods and budgets.
Established and maintained robust internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
Directly coordinate with internal & external auditors in the process of the annual audit and fulfill all the requirements of external auditors.
