Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person
• Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
• Collect and update patient information, including personal and insurance details
• Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
• Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
• Handle patient billing and payments
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning
• Communicate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Follow all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Professional and friendly demeanor

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required.
