Job Summary
This role is part of Marketing Services, which enables campaigns, customer communications, and engagement through campaign management, audience management, and channel execution. Within Channel Execution, the role independently builds, configures, tests, deploys, and optimizes email communications, customer journeys, and digital experiences. It applies content personalization, templates, offers, decision logic, and channel capabilities to support business objectives. The role partners with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into execution-ready solutions, ensuring accurate, efficient delivery aligned with customer experience goals. The role applies channel execution, digital marketing, and marketing technology expertise to build, test, deploy, monitor, and optimize customer-facing experiences while contributing to operational excellence through process improvements, issue resolution, and the adoption of new channel capabilities.
Essential Job Functions
- Independently configure, test, deploy, monitor, and support multichannel marketing campaigns, communications, customer journeys, and digital experiences. Develop and maintain content, templates, messages, offers, decision logic, and other channel components in alignment with business needs, customer experience goals, and execution standards. - (30%)
- Execute testing, optimization, and improvement across customer communications and digital experiences. Support test-and-learn initiatives, analyze results, identify channel opportunities, and recommend enhancements that improve customer engagement, operational efficiency, and execution quality. Troubleshoot channel, content, and delivery issues while maintaining channel health and effectiveness. - (25%)
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand campaign objectives, customer experience requirements, and channel capabilities. Translate business needs into execution-ready solutions, evaluate channel-specific considerations, and provide recommendations that support successful delivery of customer communications, journeys, and digital experiences. - (25%)
- Apply working knowledge of channel execution platforms, marketing technologies, customer journey capabilities, content management processes, and digital marketing practices to support complex execution activities. Contribute to the implementation, testing, and adoption of new channel capabilities, features, and process improvements that enhance execution effectiveness and scalability. - (10%)
- Apply established controls, governance practices, quality assurance procedures, and channel execution standards to support compliant, accurate, and risk-aware campaign delivery. Perform audits, validation activities, and issue resolution while ensuring communications and customer experiences meet business, operational, regulatory, and customer experience expectations. - (10%)
We currently have the ability to offer our Senior Associate - Channel Execution position at varying levels. Candidates will be assessed based upon several factors including, but not limited to, education, experience, and skill set.
Senior Associate (A) - Channel Execution
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience supporting and executing marketing campaigns, digital marketing, customer communications, content publishing, website management, customer engagement programs, or related functions.
- 1+ years experience applying analytical and problem solving skills to manage deliverables, follow defined workflows, and support campaign or data-driven initiatives.
Senior Associate(B) - Channel Execution
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience supporting and executing marketing campaigns, digital marketing, customer communications, content publishing, website management, customer engagement programs, or related functions.
- 1+ years experience using marketing technology and digital platforms to configure, publish, test, deploy, monitor, and optimize customer communications, campaigns, content, journeys, and experiences. Skilled in applying marketing and customer experience practices to troubleshoot execution issues and improve performance and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Information Systems, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience with enterprise marketing automation, customer engagement, journey orchestration, and campaign platforms such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Epsilon PCM, Acoustic, or similar technologies.
- Experience delivering personalized, multichannel customer communications and digital experiences using content management, dynamic content, testing, and optimization platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Movable Ink, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, web technologies, content publishing, digital asset management, analytics tagging, and tracking implementation.

$63,200.00 - $101,100.00Full Salary Range for position:
California: $72,700.00 - $126,400.00 Colorado: $63,200.00 - $111,200.00 New York: $69,500.00 - $126,400.00 Washington: $69,500.00 - $116,300.00 Maryland: $69,500.00 - $111,200.00 Washington DC: $72,700.00 - $116,300.00 Illinois: $63,200.00 - $111,200.00 New Jersey: $72,700.00 - $116,300.00 Vermont: $63,200.00 - $101,100.00 Ohio: $63,200.00 - $101,100.00 Maine: $63,200.00 - $101,100.00 Connecticut: $69,500.00 - $111,200.00 Virginia: $63,200.00 - $101,100.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
