Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help identify irregular conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with property management and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access-related concerns, and operational observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
