Description
- Base pay: $35–$40/hr for qualified installers (4+ years). Commensurate pay for less experience. Paid weekly.
- $3,000 Hiring Bonus.
- Up to ~$20,000 average in commission/bonus compensation.
- Paid training, ride-alongs, onboarding program.
- Insurance (health, dental, vision) available after 90 days.

- Service Titan, Rilla, mobile diagnostic tools. Bring your own basic hand tools; specialty equipment provided.
- Typical week: ~45–50 hours. Typical hours ~7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Occasional weekend installs required.
- Preferred: 4+ years residential HVAC installer (lead installer) experience.
- If you have less than 4 years’ lead installer experience — we still want to talk; pay will be commensurate with experience.
- Experience with residential split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, ductwork basics, and electrical hookups.
- Ability to read basic load/installation paperwork, set equipment per manufacturer specs, and perform start-up/commissioning.
Customer-facing skills — explain system operation and care to homeowners. - Growth mindset, coachable, and willing to mentor a helper.
- Service Titan or other CRM experience required.
- Able to come into shop 2x/week; training Tuesdays/Thursdays 7:30 AM.
- To ensure the safety of our team and the clients we serve inside their homes, any conditional offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a mandatory criminal background check, driving record review, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Complete residential split‑system and heat‑pump installs — evaporator coil, refrigerant lines with proper brazing/sweating, line‑set evacuation/vacuum, charge to manufacturer spec, and electrical hookups.
- Gas furnace installs — safe combustion setup, venting, gas piping connections, and proper safety checks.
- Ductwork modifications and airflow — basic sheet‑metal work, register placement, and airflow balancing.
- Electrical and controls competency — 240V wiring, motor/contactors, multi‑capacitor systems, control wiring, and basic troubleshooting.
- System start‑up, commissioning, thermostat configuration, and clear customer orientation on operation and maintenance.
- Refrigerant handling, leak detection, EPA/regulatory compliance, and familiarity with local codes, permitting, jobsite safety (PPE, lockout/tagout), and manufacturer clearances/load requirements.
Overall Daily Expectations
- Complete installation workflow and documentation in ServiceTitan.
- Perform pre-job vehicle and tool checks; verify required parts/materials are on the truck.
- Complete safety checks and jobsite hazard controls (PPE, lockout/tagout) before work begins.
- Coordinate and lead a helper through installs, ensuring quality and safety.
- Isolate and resolve field installation issues when needed, troubleshoot start-up problems, and follow manufacturer procedures.
- Accurately complete work orders, collect signatures/payments as required, and close tickets.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, Dispatcher, and report to Installation Manager.
- Ride-alongs with experienced installers to confirm Aire Serv processes.
- Service Titan workflows, manufacturer-specific start-up procedures, and crew management coaching.
- Regular training sessions (vendor or internal) Thursday mornings.
