Summary:
Support for the preparation of local taxes, specialist in national taxes in the Dominican Republic, support with the generation and sending of information for tax compliance in all countries.
Key Responsabilities:
- Supervision of external consultants and in-house team to meet team goals
- Development of reports to improve tax filing,
- Develop processes for compliance with tax filing and payment deadlines.
- To know how to approach the tax authority of the Dominican Republic for any procedure or consultation that Arajet may have.
- Ensure compliance in own area and across AraJet with policies and regulations where applicable in order to safeguard the company from any high-risk audit findings, regulatory breaches and company exposure with negative financial implications.
Minimum requirements
- Experience in the preparation or review of national taxes in the Dominican Republic.
- 3 or more years of experience working in tax department, Tax, financial and accounting processes, preferably with Firms.
- Preferably experience in tax compliance firms or teams.
- Experience in dealing with tax local and foreign authorities.
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant tax laws.
- Develop strategies and reduce any tax risks with the help of external auditors and advisors.
- Basic knowledge transfer pricing reporting.
- Intermediate- Advanced communcation skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including PowerQuery preferred.
